Cellular One Customers Enjoying Expanded Network This Holiday; Company Has Turned On Nearly 150 New Cell Sites, Plans More

To date, Cellular One, which operates more than 65 markets in 16states, has added 146 new cell sites to expand coverage and strengthenits cutting-edge network, according to Tim Duffy, chief technicalofficer and senior vice president of network operations andengineering.

Duffy also said the company expects to add 40 additional cellsites before the end of 2005.

"Every new site that goes on the air is another example of ourcommitment to providing the best wireless network possible to themarkets we serve," he said adding that Cellular One now has more 2,500cell sites providing quality service to its 1.6 million customers.
