Cato Same-Store Sales Rises 3% In May - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Cato Corp. (CATO), a retailer of women's apparel and accessories, Thursday said same-store sales rose by 3 percent in the month of May.
Monthly sales grew to $86.4 million from $81.7 million a year earlier. The company opened two stores and close one during the month.
"May sales continued our recent trend," said CEO John Cato. "However, we continue to expect the remainder of the year will be in line with our original guidance."
