Cato Corp. Feb. Comps. Up 1% - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - The Cato Corp. (CATO) reported sales for the four weeks ended March 1, 2014 of $87.0 million, a 3% increase over $84.7 million for the four week period ended March 2, 2013. Same-store sales increased 1%.
John Cato, Chairman, President, and CEO, of Cato Corp., said: "February sales were negatively impacted by winter storms the first two weeks of the month. However, that impact was offset by strong selling in the last two weeks of the month driven by warmer weather and tax refund spending."
