    TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2005--Cardinal Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:CFNL), a financial holding company located in Tysons Corner, Virginia, announced today that it has filed a Form S-1 Registration Statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a public offering of up to 5,175,000 shares of its common stock, including 675,000 that may be issued upon exercise of an option to be granted to the underwriters to cover over-allotments.
