Canadian Paralympic Committee statement on Brian McKeever at Laureus World Sports Awards
OTTAWA, Feb. 18, 2019 /CNW/ - Canada's most decorated Winter Paralympian of all-time Brian McKeever attended the Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco on Monday. He was one of six nominees for Sportsperson of the Year with a Disability, and ultimately came up short to winner Henrieta Farkasova, a Para alpine skier from Slovakia.
McKeever won four medals at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. He now holds 17 Paralympic medals, 13 of which are gold. He is the most accomplished Para cross-country skier in history.
