Cadence Design Systems Profit Advances In Q4

(RTTNews) - Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $111.28 million, or $0.39 per share. This was up from $95.17 million, or $0.34 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.39 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.0% to $501.72 million. This was up from $468.98 million last year.
