Cabot Microelectronics Appoints David Li As CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cabot Microelectronics Corp.'s (CCMP) board has elected David Li as President and Chief Executive Officer as well as board member, effective January 1, 2015. Meanwhile, William Noglows would continue to serve as the board's Executive Chairman. As President and CEO, Li, who is at present Cabot Microelectronics' Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region, would replace Noglows, who was the company's Chairman, President and CEO since 2003.

Li has over 15 years of experience in a wide-range of roles with Cabot Microelectronics, including 8 years leading the company's Asia Pacific business while resident there. In 2003, Bill Noglows was appointed as Chairman, President and Chief Executive of Cabot Microelectronics.

Li's election to the board, that is effective January 1, 2015, is for a term continuing until the Corporation's annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 2015. He plans to split his time between Asia and the US, with his primary residence remaining in China.
