STATE COLLEGE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 2005--C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq: CCBL) will exhibit at the ANGA Cable Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany (May 31 - June 2, 2005) with an expanded portfolio of interoperable access, transport, and operational support system products, designed to simplify the transition to next-generation IP-based, consumer demand-oriented networks. C-COR's Booth (D10 in Hall 14.2) will showcase the Company's latest offerings in HFC access equipment, GigE transport backbone, on demand servers, and automated solutions for service assurance, subscriber fulfillment, and on demand content management. Specific C-COR products showcased at this year's ANGA Trade Fair include the Company's:

-- CHP Max5000(TM) that uses innovative technology to converge headend, hub, and digital transport onto one 2RU scalable system, allowing network operators to accelerate deployment of advanced services such as video on demand, high speed data, and telephony. The CHP is the highest density headend platform on the market and offers simplified installation and management, optional redundant powering, hot-swappable modules, investment protection through its 2RU footprint, and universal management through a craft interface and SNMP. C-COR recently announced the addition of a 1 GHz Forward Path Transmitter Suite to the CHP product line. The 1 GHz transmitters typically increase forward capacity up to 40% for HDTV over previous program offerings.

-- Opti Max1220(TM) High Value Fiber Deep Cabinet Node that enables network operators to launch advanced revenue services and accelerate segmentation of older networks. The Opti Max 1220 combines innovative features to meet customer requirements, such as optical gain control, modular return DFB and CWDM transmitters, a return path ingress switch, an HMS/AM transponder, and service interruption prevention. The service interruption prevention is unique in that it enables node adjustment without disrupting forward and return service, a crucial feature for providers who have provisioned VoIP and high speed data services.

-- Flex Max220(TM) Multi-Dwelling Unit Amplifier that combines advanced RF technology with installer friendly features to deliver signals to the subscriber at lower expense. The Flex Max220 is dedicated to systems in which input sources are cable drops and can serve medium-to-large multi-dwelling unit architectures.

-- PLEXiS(TM) , a next-generation transport platform combining 2 or 10 Gigabit Ethernet transport modules with DWDM and CWDM hardware to provide a true network core-to-customer premise transport solution for services such as VOD, HDTV, broadcast video, high-speed Internet, and VoIP. As such, it enables the network operator to build high-capacity fiber-optic networks capable of simultaneously transmitting voice, video, and data traffic on one optical wavelength over long distances. The latest addition to the PLEXiS line are the BxE Business Service products designed to enable network operators to offer high bandwidth, direct-connect services in a cost effective manner to an expanding enterprise market. This IP-based business services platform includes hub and customer premise equipment (CPE) that provide up to 1 Gigabyte data rates, can be configured and monitored remotely, and can be groomed for rate shaping as required.

-- The MPS (Multi-Service Packet Switch), the industry's first L2-based, 10 Gigabit RPR (Resilient Packet Ring) system that uses a flow networking technology to provide QoS for transport of IP over Ethernet. RPR technology combines the high availability and reliability of existing voice-optimized circuit-switched infrastructures with the superior bandwidth utilization, simplicity, and cost advantages of Ethernet. These capabilities make RPR well suited to support converged multi-service networks that carry bandwidth-hungry data, voice, and video traffic.

-- On Demand VOD server and nABLE back office management software that gives network operators the flexibility to manage any kind of content--FVOD, SVOD, VOD, HD VOD, nPVR, and other on demand services--from a single platform. nABLE reduces manual intervention, simplifies operations, and lowers costs because one process manages VOD at the corporate, regional, and local levels, in real time and across different VOD delivery systems. In addition, C-COR's On Demand server architecture offers scalability that delivers up to 120,000 concurrent streams from a single site.

-- Operational management solutions for service assurance and subscriber fulfillment that are part of a suite of automated operations support system (OSS) solutions to enable real-time management of services, resources, and network capacity. C-COR's Network Service Manager (NSM(TM)) integrates best-in-class standards-based network management technology with customer care and billing data sources to give network operators the tools to proactively monitor the health of their network infrastructure and prioritize alarm resolutions by the number of customers impacted. C-COR's Service Activation Manager (SAM(TM)) provides unparalleled business and operational benefits to network operators with its fully integrated, end-to-end provisioning and IP management solution. The SAM solution is the industry's only end-to-end OSS product that automates the entire subscriber lifecycle--from equipment qualification through customer support--and integrates all layers of the IT infrastructure, including billing, order entry, customer care, and network management. In addition, SAM deploys high speed data, Internet telephony, multimedia, home networks, and more in one robust, highly scalable platform.
