(RTTNews) - Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (BBW) reported earnings for first quarter that lost ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit totaled $3.52 million, or $0.22 per share. This was down from $6.82 million, or $0.40 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.7% to $94.98 million. This was up from $93.39 million last year.
