Bruker Q2 Profit Tops View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Bruker Corporation (BRKR), Thursday posted second-quarter net income attributable to the company $22.9 million, or $0.14 per share, compared to $9.9 million, or $0.06 per share in the prior year.

On an adjusted basis, net income attributable to the company rose to $29.9 million, or $0.18 per share, from $20.5 million, or $0.12 per share, in the year-ago period. On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.14 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues rose to $454.90 million from $420.70 million in the comparable quarter last year, while thirteen analysts expected to see revenues of $426.39 million.

Looking forward, the company expects full-year 2013 adjusted per share guidance in the range of $0.80 and $0.83, and expects to to generate reported revenue growth of 2 to 3 percent.

Analysts expect the company to report per share earnings of $0.81 on revenues of $1.82 billion for the full year.
