Ms. Odjaghian has focused her practice on catastrophic injury litigation, including mild TBI, strokes, and spinal cord injury. She is recognized as an expert in the brain injury community and as an aggressive advocate of injured workers' rights in the community-at-large. Ms. Odjaghian serves in an advisory capacity on several boards and often participates on educational panels regarding complex legal issues surrounding catastrophic injury litigation. Since the beginning of 2016, Ms. Odjaghian has obtained 11 seven-figure settlements on behalf of catastrophically injured workers.

Ms. Odjaghian is honored to accept the Board's appointment and join a distinguished team, renowned for its state-of-the-art approach in treating brain and spinal cord injury. Joining Ms. Odjaghian on the Board are neurosurgeons and neuroscientists who have made it their life's mission to invent the future of neurosurgery and unravel solutions to the most complex neurological diseases through innovative technology.

The Board is led by neurosurgeon and visionary Dr. Linda M. Liau, a recognized expert in intraoperative functional brain mapping, who has developed cutting-edge imaging techniques to surgically remove brain tumors. Amongst Dr. Liau's most recent innovative breakthroughs is the use of immunotherapy to treat the deadliest form of brain cancer, glioblastoma. The Board is also joined by the esteemed neurosurgeon, Dr. Nader Pouratian, who specializes in neurosurgical procedures that preserve and restore physical functionality to patients with spinal cord injury. Dr. Pouratian's research focuses on further developing brain and nerve mapping mechanisms and studying brain mapping signals to ultimately develop computer programs that help patients with critical functional impairments to regain mobility.

"I'm delighted to accept the Board's appointment and serve alongside such esteemed professionals in their noble pursuit to invent the future of neurosurgery," says Ms. Odjaghian. "I look forward to raising community awareness and support as this remarkable neurosurgical team courageously makes the impossible possible one step at a time."

The Board will host their star-studded annual Visionary Ball later this year to raise critical funds and awareness in support of UCLA's brave patients.
