Bluesman James Dolan Now CEO At MSG

(RTTNews) - Live sports and entertainment company The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) Monday said Chief Executive Officer David O'Connor has stepped down, effective immediately. James Dolan, Executive Chairman, has assumed the additional role of interim Chief Executive Officer.

The company did not provide an information on why O'Connor decided to resign.

Dolan is a former member, frontman and guitarist of country blues and roots rock band JD & The Straight Shot. After pursuing a career in music, Dolan eventually switched to a major in communications at SUNY New Paltz and began working for Cablevision in various capacities. In 1995, he was made CEO of Cablevision.
