Belden Reaffirms Q4, 2014 Outlook

(RTTNews) - Networking products maker Belden, Inc. (BDC) on Tuesday reaffirmed its earnings and revenue forecast for the fourth quarter and for the full-year 2014. The company revealed this ahead of its 2014 investor and analyst meet later in the day.

Meanwhile, the company said it will communicate full-year 2015 guidance at the meeting, where President and CEO John Stroup, along with other senior executives, will present an overview of the business and performance.

The St. Louis, Missouri-based company said it continues to expect earnings from continuing operations in a range of $0.55 to $0.65 per share and adjusted earnings from continuing operations in the range of $1.15 to $1.25 per share for the fourth quarter.

On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently expect the company to report earnings of $1.22 per share for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company also said it still projects quarterly revenues between $588 million and $608 million, and adjusted revenues between $590 million and $610 million. Seven Wall Street analysts currently have a consensus revenue estimate of $605.67 million for the fourth quarter.

For fiscal 2014, Belden still projects earnings from continuing operations in the range of $1.90 to $2.00 per share on revenues between $2.29 billion and $2.31 billion.

The company also continues to expect full-year 2014 adjusted earnings from continuing operations in the range of $4.15 to $4.25 per share, on adjusted revenues between $2.30 billion to $2.32 billion.

Street is currently looking for full-year 2014 earnings of $4.22 per share on annual revenues of $2.31 billion.

In Tuesday's regular trading session, BDC is currently trading at $72.06, up $0.19 or 0.26% on a volume of 1,295 shares.
