Belden Inc. Q3 Income Advances 12%

(RTTNews) - Belden Inc. (BDC) released earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $54.81 million, or $1.29 per share. This was up from $48.93 million, or $1.14 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.26 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.8% to $601.11 million. This was up from $579.27 million last year.
