Bankers Financial Corporation Expands Leadership Team

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 26, 2013/PRNewswire-iReach/ -- St. Petersburg-based insurance, surety and business solutions company Bankers Financial Corporation (BFC), announced today the addition of two key executives to the Bankers Insurance Group leadership rolls. Bill Bowman has been appointed General Manager of Bankers Life Insurance Company and Bonded Builders Warranty Group; John Muscolino joins the BFC team, reporting to Bowman, as Director of Life and Annuity Sales.

Bowman comes to BFC from his role as Vice President of Marketing Analytics, Finance & Operations for Zurich Financial Services/Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles. His previous leadership roles at Farmers include Head of Personal Lines for Latin America; VP of Personal Lines Marketing; Assistant VP for Strategic Alliances; AVP of Product Management, Personal Auto Insurance; AV of Internet Products; and AVP of Product Management, Non-Standard Auto Insurance. A graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science, Bowman also holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Muscolino joins BFC following his twenty-eight year tenure at Farmers Insurance Group, most recently as Wisconsin State Executive Director. He began his career as a Claim Representative, from which he quickly rose to Sales Management Trainee, then Division Agency Manager and Marketing and Planning Manager covering a range of territories. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Arizona University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
