Aruba Results Top Estimate As Revenue Jumps 29%

(RTTNews) - Aruba Networks Inc (ARUN), a provider of enterprise mobility solutions, Thursday reported first-quarter net earnings of $2.7 million or $0.02 per share compared with a loss of $7.8 million or $0.07 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.26 per share compared with $0.16 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were higher by 29% at $207.8 million compared with $160.9 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.25 per share on revenues of $204.3 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said prospects for the future appear bright.
