ARM Holdings Leading The Semiconductor Sector Higher
(RTTNews) - Semiconductor stocks continue to see significant strength in afternoon trading on Monday, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index jumping by 1.5 percent. With the gain, the index has reached its best intraday level in over a year.
ARM Holdings (ARMH) is leading the semiconductor sector higher, soaring by 41.3 percent after agreeing to be acquired by Softbank for $32 billion in cash.
NXP Semiconductors (NXPI), Infinera (INFN), and Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) are also posting notable gains on the day.
