Apache President Roger Plank To Retire, Alfonso Leon Named CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apache Corporation (APA) Friday said Roger Plank, President and Chief Corporate Officer, will retire from the company.

Alfonso Leon has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer, while Tom Chambers will assume the new position of senior vice president, Finance.

Leon has been serving as senior vice president and chief of staff since 2012, and has led the evolution of the company's planning, strategy and investor relations functions. Prior to joining Apache, he was a director and head of energy investment banking at Perella Weinberg Partners in London.

In his new role, Leon will lead Apache's financial, commercial, stakeholder relations, planning and strategy functions.

Chambers previously worked with the international business development group at Pennzoil Exploration and Production, having held a variety of management positions with BP Plc.
