Ampio Pharmaceuticals's Unit Vyrix Files For IPO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AMPE) Monday said its wholly-owned unit Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc. has filed for initial public offering of its common stock with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. The company did not specify the number of shares or the estimated price range.

Vyrix is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing late-stage prescription pharmaceuticals to improve men's health and quality of life. Its oral drug Zertane is intended for treatment of premature ejaculation.

Vyrix has applied to trade under the symbol VYRX in the New York Stock Exchange.

Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as sole book-running manager and Fordham Financial is acting as co-manager for the offering.
