Amphenol Raises FY18 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - While reporting its third-quarter financial results, Amphenol Corp. (APH) said that for the full year 2018, the company now expects to achieve sales in a range of $8.040 billion to $8.080 billion, an increase over 2017 of 15 percent, as well as adjusted earnings per share in a range of $3.68 to $3.70, an increase over 2017 of 18 percent to 19 percent.

This compared to the company's prior guidance for the full year 2018 of sales in the range of $7.82 billion to $7.90 billion and adjusted earnings per share in the range of $3.57 to $3.61.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $3.62 per share on revenues of $7.91 billion. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects sales in the range of $2.063 billion to $2.103 billion and adjusted earnings per share in the range of $0.96 to $0.98. The Street expects earnings of $0.96 per share on revenues of $2.04 billion.
