AMETEK Issues 2016 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AMETEK, Inc. (AME) announced the company anticipates 2016 revenue to be up low single digits on a percentage basis from 2015. Earnings for 2016 are expected to be in the range of $2.55 to $2.65 per share, flat to up 4% over 2015 adjusted results.

AMETEK expects its first quarter sales to be down low single digits from last year's first quarter. The company estimates its earnings to be approximately $0.56 to $0.58 per share.

AMETEK also announced that it has completed two acquisitions: Brookfield Engineering Laboratories, the world's leading manufacturer of viscometers and rheometers, and ESP/SurgeX, a leader in energy intelligence and power protection solutions.
