AmerisourceBergen Corp. Bottom Line Climbs 13% In Q3

(RTTNews) - AmerisourceBergen Corp. (ABC) revealed a profit for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $312.83 million, or $1.37 per share. This was higher than $277.53 million, or $1.20 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.27 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.7% to $36.88 billion. This was up from $34.23 billion last year.
