AmeriCash Loans Continues Its Tradition of Spreading Holiday Cheer

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In November 2019, AmeriCash Loans and 99.1 The Mix collected nonperishable food items and donations ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

For the past 20 years, AmeriCash Loans has been driven to live up to its commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with its customers and the communities in which it operates. In 2018, it held a month-long "Share Your Table" food drive; and continues to sponsor dozens of Little League teams in South Carolina, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Illinois in addition to making a sizable donation to Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital every year.

Keeping the momentum going, the company continued its tradition of giving back to local communities while spreading holiday cheer during its "Stuff the Bus" event on Nov. 27, 2019. Together with partner 99.1 The Mix donations were accepted from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Pick N' Save in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

99.1 The Mix broadcast live during the event. The community rallied together, donating food items including frozen hams and turkeys, canned stews and soups, canned vegetables and fruits, rice, pasta, stuffing mixes, and so much more. All the donations benefited Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has food banks throughout Fox Valley and Milwaukee that provide nutritious foods to approximately 400,000 people across 36 counties in the state. AmeriCash Loans along with other sponsors, were proud to collect a total of 86,174 meals during the event, where AmeriCash Loans presented a donation of $1,000 to the organization, as well.

Keeping the holiday cheer rolling, AmeriCash Loans also sponsored SportsRadio 105.7 FM The Fan's annual Toy Drive from Dec. 2 through Dec. 6 at regional retailer Blain's Farm and Fleet. The drive collected $200,000 in toys and cash to benefit Children's Hospital. Additionally, AmeriCash Loans partnered with 103.7 KISS-FM for Riggs & Alley's Holiday Helpers, which sponsors Milwaukee children, by pairing them with callers to provide gifts from their Christmas wish lists.
