AmeriCare Medical's Nursing Unit Signs Beaumont Health's Oak Med, LLC, to a 3-year Renewal Contract, Providing Home Nursing and Rehab Services

TROY, Mich., July 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Troy, MI based, AmeriCare Medical, Inc., a Home Health Care Services Corporation has renewed a 3-year agreement with Beaumont Health and its 8-member hospital system, through a joint venture formed in 2012 by the two organizations. This Joint venture, Oak Med, LLC, focuses on post-acute home nursing and rehabilitation services for patient injury conditions resulting from motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries.

Company President Greg Jamian stated that "We have committed significant investment toward our new extended relationship with Beaumont. Under this contract extension, we will expand upon the service offering of Beaumont's continuing care program for injury related patient conditions".

Jamian further stated, "with our comprehensive service offering we will significantly enhance the patient-centered experience along with more patient options for catastrophic injury patients going home from the eight (8) member hospital system".

Oak Med's case managers, specialized in catastrophic injuries, assist the hospital's continuing care department with cost effective early discharge programs dramatically reducing patient "length of stays" (LOS). As hospitals look to further reduce their cost by outsourcing specialized rehabilitation operations to experienced partners, collaboration makes a lot of sense".
