American Electric Power Co Inc Profit Retreats 15% In Q3

(RTTNews) - American Electric Power Co Inc (AEP) announced earnings for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings dropped to $543.30 million, or $1.10 per share. This was lower than $639.7 million, or $1.30 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 12.8% to $4.10 billion. This was down from $4.70 billion last year.
