American Electric Power Co Inc Profit Advances 23% In Q3

(RTTNews) - American Electric Power Co Inc (AEP) announced earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $639.7 million, or $1.30 per share. This was up from $521.2 million, or $1.06 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.8% to $4.7 billion. This was up from $4.4 billion last year.
