Alcoa Inc. Earnings Advance 48% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Alcoa Inc. (AA) revealed a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $161 million, or $0.32 per share. This was up from $109 million, or $0.21 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 6.5% to $5.21 billion. This was down from $5.57 billion last year.
