Albany International Bottom Line Declines 18% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Albany International (AIN) revealed earnings for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line dropped to $9.66 million, or $0.30 per share. This was down from $11.81 million, or $0.37 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.36 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.6% to $178.79 million. This was down from $179.86 million last year.
