Akorn To Appeal Court Ruling In Complaint Against Fresenius Kabi - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Akorn, Inc. (AKRX) issued a statement in response to the ruling by the Delaware Chancery Court on the complaint filed by the company against Fresenius Kabi AG. The company stated that it is disappointed by the Court ruling determining not to force Fresenius to close. Akorn said it continues to believe Fresenius' attempt to terminate the transaction is in breach of the binding merger agreement.
"We intend to appeal, in an effort to vigorously enforce our rights and continue to protect the interests of our company and our shareholders," Akorn said.
