Facebook, Inc. (FB) gained 10 percent to $58.90. The company's fourth quarter earnings jumped from the prior year period and its adjusted earnings per share topped Wall Street view. Revenues for the quarter rose 63 percent and came in above the consensus estimate.

QUALCOMM Inc. (QCOM) rose nearly 3 percent to $73.05. The company's first quarter GAAP profit declined from the year-ago quarter, while its adjusted earnings per share topped Street view. Revenues increased 10 percent, but missed the consensus estimate. The company guided second quarter results below analysts' expectations. At the same time, the company raised its fiscal year earnings forecast and backed its revenue outlook.

Flextronics International Ltd. (FLEX) was up 11 percent to $8.55. The company's third quarter results were above Street view. The company forecast fourth quarter results inline with analysts' estimates. The company also announced that that it plans to reduce its workforce and initiate other cost reduction activities during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014.

NeuStar, Inc. (NSR) fell 25 percent to $32.84. The company's fourth quarter results topped Wall Street view. Meanwhile, the company forecast fiscal 2014 earnings below Street view and revenues in-line with the consensus estimate.

KaloBios Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (KBIO) plunged 38 percent to $2.89 based on the news that Phase 2 study of its anti-GM-CSF monoclonal antibody KB003 did not meet its primary clinical endpoint of improvement in FEV1, a measurement of pulmonary function, compared to placebo in the overall study population in patients with severe asthma.
