Aegean Marine Results Top Estimate

(RTTNews) - Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc (ANW) Monday reported third-quarter net loss of $4.3 million or $0.09 per share compared with a profit of $7.3 million or $0.16 per share last year.

Adjusted for the sale of non-core assets, earnings for the quarter were $0.20 per share.

Revenues for the quarter were $1.81 billion compared with $1.6 billion in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.21 per share on revenues of $1.76 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Volume of marine fuel sold by the company for the quarter rose 18.5% year-over to 2.96 million metric tons.
