Advanced Semiconductor Submits Proposal To Siliconware Precision Industries

(RTTNews) - Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASX) announced its board has approved and submitted a proposal to Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. to acquire all SPIL shares for cash. The company said the proposal is valued at NT$55 per common share or NT$275 per American depositary share.

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering said it has asked that SPIL review its Proposal and send a written response no later than December 21, 2015 to confirm whether SPIL is willing to discuss as soon as possible a 100% share exchange transaction in accordance with the proposal.
