Adtalem Global Education Board Authorizes $750 Million Share Buyback

(RTTNews) - Adtalem Global Education Inc. (ATGE), a U.S. healthcare education provider, on Monday said its board has authorized a new share repurchase program of up to $750 million through December 2028.

"The new three-year authorization underscores management and the Board's conviction in Adtalem's strategic direction, strong financial position, and ability to generate substantial cash flow while continuing to invest in growth initiatives," the company said in a statement.

Adtalem also said it has completed its previous $150 million share buyback, repurchasing approximately 1.6 million shares.

Adtalem shares were more than 1% up in pre-market trading after closing at $92.88, down 0.24%.
