Acuity Brands Revises Date to Discuss 2009 Fourth Quarter Results

Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI) announced today a revised date for the conference call to discuss the Company’s performance for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The Company will host a conference call on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. ET rather than the previously announced date of Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009 will be announced the morning of October 7^th prior to the conference call. Vernon J. Nagel, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Acuity Brands, will lead the call. A live Webcast of the discussion will be accessible at the Company’s Web site: www.acuitybrands.com.
