40|86 Strategic Income Fund Announces Portfolio Management Changes

CARMEL, Ind., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 40|86 Strategic Income Fund today announced that Jess E. Horsfall has been selected as a co-portfolio manager of the fund, replacing Edwin J. Ferrell. This change is effective on December 5, 2007.

Horsfall is Director of Portfolio Management and a senior vice president of 40|86 Advisors, Inc., CFD's investment advisor. Horsfall is responsible for the management of the portfolio management group. Horsfall has been with 40|86 Advisors for 13 years and has held the position of Portfolio Manager since December 2002.

Richard Matas continues as the other co-portfolio manager of CFD.
