3D Systems To Buy Cimatron For $8.97 Per Share - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - 3D Systems Corp. (DDD) Monday said it will acquire Cimatron Ltd. (CIMT), a provider of 3D CAD/CAM software for the manufacturing industry, for $97 million or $8.97 per share in cash. The acquisition would strengthen the company's position in the 3D design and manufacturing space, as well as extend its direct and reseller sales coverage worldwide. The transaction, which is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2015, is expected to immediately add to the group's cash generation and non-GAAP earnings per share, upon closing.
