1-800-FLOWERS.COM Closes Purchase Of Harry & David Holdings

(RTTNews) - 1-800-FLOWERS.COM Inc (FLWS), a multi-channel gifts retailer, Tuesday announced the closing of its acquisition of Harry & David Holdings Inc, a specialty retailer and producer of branded premium gift-quality fruit, gourmet food products and other gifts.

Based on the addition of the Harry & David business, the company said it expects revenue in fiscal 2015 to exceed $1.1 billion, and that revenue in the current second quarter will comprise up to 50 percent of the year's total revenue. Adjusted earnings for the year are expected in the range of $0.45 to $0.50 per share.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect earnings of $0.28 per share on revenue of $803 million for the year.
