OTTAWA, Oct. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - CMHC will release its annual Housing Market Outlook (HMO) and fourth quarter Housing Market Assessment (HMA) on Thursday, October 26 at 12:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

The HMO provides a two-year forecast of housing starts, sales, prices and key economic indicators. The goal of the HMA is to provide prompt, accurate, and reliable assessments of Canadian housing markets to the public with the objective of identifying vulnerabilities.

The national and regional reports will be made available at www.cmhc.ca/housingmarketinformation.

A media availability with Bob Dugan, CMHC Chief Economist and CMHC regional market analysts via teleconference will begin at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Time.
