CK Hutchison Holdings Limited -- Moody's: CK Hutchison's A3 ratings unaffected by EC rejection of O2 acquisition
Hong Kong, May 12, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service says that the European Commission's (EC) announcement on 11 May 2016 that it had blocked CK Hutchison Holdings Limited's (CKHH, A3 stable) proposed acquisition of Telefonica S.A.'s (Baa2) subsidiary in the UK, O2 (not rated), under the EU Merger Regulation, has no impact on CKHH's A3 issuer and senior unsecured bond ratings or stable rating outlook.
