Block Financial LLC -- Moody's: H&R Block U.S. assisted tax filings and revenue expectations declined in 2016, negative credit developments
New York, April 27, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) said that H&R Block, Inc's. (together with Block Financial LLC's and subsidiaries, "Block", Baa3 stable) announcement that U.S. assisted tax filings and revenues will be down in its 2016 fiscal year (ends April 30) are negative credit developments as Moody's had expected flat assisted tax filings and somewhat increased revenues versus 2015, but the Baa3 senior unsecured rating and stable ratings outlook remain unchanged at this time.
