The Pepsi Bottling Group Realigns Communications Work

The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. (NYSE: PBG) today announced that Mary Winn Settino, who has been leading PBG’s Investor Relations function since late 1999, will take on expanded responsibility for public and media relations for PBG, in the new role of Vice President of Investor and Public Relations, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Al Drewes. Ms. Settino has been a strong contributor to PBG’s success since she joined the company in late 1999. She has built strong relationships with both the "sell” and "buy” sides of the stock market, showcasing PBG’s strengths – including the company’s Customer Connect service initiative and international business - and leading improvements in the company’s financial disclosure. Her efforts have led to PBG’s consistent ranking among the "Best Investor Relations” by Institutional Investor Magazine. Paula S. Davis will join the company as Vice President, Corporate Communications, effective July 9. She most recently held the position of Executive Officer and Senior Director of Communications and Relationship Marketing for Siemens AG, where she served as an advisor and strategic counselor to senior management, developing communications and marketing programs to advance Siemens business strategies. Ms. Davis will lead PBG’s executive communication strategy, employee communication, the PBG Foundation and community relations. The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc.
