Tenet Earnings Projected To Fall; Revenue Growth Predicted

(RTTNews) - Earnings at hospital operator Tenet Healthcare (THC) are projected to decline for the fourth quarter. The company is scheduled to release its latest quarterly results after the closing bell today.

The company is projected to earn $0.34 per share, according to a survey of analysts conducted by Thompson Reuters. This would compare to a profit of $1.03 per share in the same period last year.

Revenues for the quarter are projected to rise, however. Analysts had a consensus top-line estimate of $4.82 billion. This would be up nearly 8 percent compared to last year's total of $4.47 billion.
