Sterling Bancorp Profit Rises 53% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Sterling Bancorp (STL) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $222.04 million, or $1.40 per share. This was up from $145.52 million, or $1.11 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 38.2% to $660.74 million. This was up from $478.22 million last year.
