    Business Editors

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 2005--Radiant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RADS) announces the certification of Radiant Point-of-Sale (POS) with the ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) network for processing credit, debit and fleet card transactions at Conoco, Phillips and 76-branded sites throughout the U.S. market. This certification enables marketers of ConocoPhillips, the third largest integrated energy company in the United States, to take advantage of Radiant's more-than-10-years' experience providing touch-screen POS for petroleum and convenience retailers.
"We've used Radiant products since 1993 because our retail environment demands the utmost in speed of service and customer focus," said Carey Johnson, Jr., president of EZ GO Foods, Radiant's first client within the ConocoPhillips network using Radiant Point-of-Sale. "The Radiant POS is a very reliable platform which helps us give our customers what they want, when they want it." Sales, service and support are provided to EZ GO Foods through Retail Data Systems, one of the leading resellers of technology to branded marketers in the petroleum retail industry.
"Our point-of-sale combines the ease of use of the industry's best touch-screen solution with outstanding reliability," said Mark Schoen, president of Radiant's global petroleum and convenience retail division. "Our premium solution provides retailers with options for food service and self-service while still being very cost competitive."
The Radiant POS integrates into retailers' existing back office and pricebook systems through the PCATS-NAXML compatibility standards. Utilizing these standards, Radiant's open solution improves the detail and breadth of the data provided to the back-office systems while providing consumers with a faster and more convenient shopping experience in the store.
