Powerwave Technologies’ CTO Khurram Sheikh to Share Expertise on Active Antenna Systems at RCR Wireless Conference

Khurram Sheikh, CTO of Powerwave Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:PWAV), will share his wireless infrastructure expertise as part of an industry panel discussion at the RCR Wireless Mobile Broadband Conference on Thursday, April 14, from 1:50 to 2:10 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany, New Jersey.

The panel, titled, "Active Antenna Systems—The Cube, Liquid Radio—Who is on First” is being moderated by Matt Kapko, editor at RCR Wireless News and includes experts from Bell Labs and Nokia Siemens Networks as well as Powerwave. Topics to be addressed include: what cube technology is, what the difference is in antenna arrays for LTE compared to existing deployments, how new LTE antennas will fit into the "canisters” for flagpoles, rooftops and stealth structures and how all of these new technologies will change the need for towers.
