Peabody Names Patrick Forkin Senior Vice President - Corporate Development

LOUIS, Nov. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Peabody has announced that Patrick Forkin is being promoted to Senior Vice President – Corporate Development reporting to Executive Vice President – Corporate Services and Chief Commercial Officer Charles Meintjes. Forkin is responsible for leading business development strategies covering the full spectrum, from mergers and acquisitions to portfolio optimization.

Forkin has 30 years of combined experience in global analytics and corporate development, previously serving as Vice President – Strategy and Global Energy Analytics. He joined Peabody in 2010 and has held several senior strategic planning and analytics roles. Forkin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
