Gary Stone Named President and Chief Operating Officer of Univision Radio

Prior to his appointment to SVP/COO in 2001, Stone served twoyears as Vice President/General Manager of the company's Los Angelesradio stations. Prior to overseeing the Los Angeles market, Stone wasGeneral Manager of the Houston stations for twelve years. Stone, whohas been in radio for 37 years, began his broadcasting career in 1969as a Disc Jockey. He has subsequently excelled in numerous rolesincluding: Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and GeneralManager.
"It's very gratifying to succeed Mac Tichenor, Jr. as president ofUnivision Radio and I am very pleased that this occurs on my five yearanniversary as COO," stated Stone. Stone serves on the Board of Directors of the Radio AdvertisingBureau and on the Advisory Board of Arbitron.
