Devine Entertainment Nominated for 7 GEMINI Awards (Canada's EMMY(TM)) in the Category of Best Dramatic Mini-Series

Devine Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:DVNNF), is pleased to announce that their six part prime time television mystery series, ACROSS THE RIVER TO MOTOR CITY, co-produced with Jonsworth Productions and broadcast on the Citytv network in Canada, has been nominated for seven GEMINI Awards.

The nominations include: Best Dramatic Mini-Series, Best Dramatic Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, Best Writing in a Dramatic Program or Min-Series, Best Photography, Best Original Music Score, Best Production Design and Best Sound.

"We are obviously pleased with the nominations and think that they should enhance the value of the miniseries internationally. These nominations build on the companys history of award-winning quality entertainment programming, said David Devine, Executive Producer and CEO of Devine Entertainment. Mr. Devine further added, "This makes a total of 34 combined EMMY and Gemini award nominations for the company and reflects our drive to continue to successfully build great content both in our core childrens library while expanding and diversifying into other genres of prime time filmed entertainment like ACROSS THE RIVER.

The awards will be held live at the John Bassett Theatre in Toronto on November 28/08.

Devine Entertainment, in seeking to capitalize on the burgeoning global demand for high quality film and television content, is also pleased to announce today two new sales successes under its ongoing foreign-language distribution strategy working in tandem with our foreign distributor, The Carrere Group of Paris.

First, the CITEL Video Group of Paris has taken on the manufacturing and sales of the companys childrens library for DVD and video in the French language for the French speaking territories including France, Monaco, Switzerland and Belgium for a period of five years. This agreement will further monetize Devines proprietary library of award-winning childrens films aimed at the family and educational marketplace.

Secondly, The Baldemore Internacional S.L. distribution company of Barcelona has also taken Devines childrens library for DVD and video for a period of five years in both the English and Spanish languages for manufacturing and sales for the territory of Spain. "These agreements have tremendous strategic significance for our company because the French and Spanish markets are so large and the demand for intelligent content for young people is growing dramatically. We strongly believe that our educational content strategy will continue to build new revenue streams through continued sales of our franchise film properties, said David Devine, C.E.O.

These two mainstream Western European sales follow Devine Entertainments recent announcements of television distribution deals with companies based in Hungary, Mexico, Poland, Taiwan and others.
