Chartered to Showcase Leading-Edge Technology and Manufacturing Solutions at 2009 Asia-Pacific Technology Forums

Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHRT) (SGX:CharteredSC), one of the world’s top dedicated foundries, today announced the details of its 2009 Technology Forum series in the Asia-Pacific region. The one-day events, entitled "Unlocking Innovation,” will be held in Hsinchu, Taiwan and Shanghai, China, and feature in-depth discussions of unique and leading-edge technology and manufacturing solutions that help customers get to market more quickly.

In addition to senior executives and top technologists from Chartered, the events will feature presentations from technical experts representing Chartered’s network of partners and ecosystem suppliers, including IBM, ARM, Synopsys and Socle Technology.
