Brocade Communications Systems Inc Announces 3% Increase In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Brocade Communications Systems Inc (BRCD) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $107.96 million, or $0.26 per share. This was higher than $104.50 million, or $0.24 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.24 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.4% to $589 million. This was up from $564 million last year.
